What does Brooks Brothers mean to Joe?

Meet Joseph Barrato.
Menswear leader.
Luxury expert. Fashion lover.

rom Brooks Brothers to Bergdorf Goodman to Polo Ralph Lauren to Brioni to Moncler, Joseph Barrato’s rich, rewarded and remarkable career has followed his lifelong love of menswear – a passion that began as a young boy shopping with his parents for his first suit at Barney’s in his native New York City.
In Beyond Category, Barrato shares his personal insights, reflections, and opinions about the culture, business and history of menswear. “You know, fashion is a people’s business,” Barrato says. “It really is. And it’s a creative business. People are seduced by the fashion industry.”
“I worked for some amazing people in my career. I met some amazing people. And I grew every step of the way. It was never old for me. Never. There was always a new dimension… a new opportunity… a new way to grow into the role I saw for myself someday… and that was always exciting. And it's still exciting. Right up to today, I still have the passion.”
